Dr Shikha Sharma

completed medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College in 1992. Thereafter she worked in the Department of Cardiology as a Junior Resident in GB Pant Hospital. It was there that the desire to work in Preventive Medicine emerged.

She was awarded the "Talented Ladies Award" by the Bharat Nirman Society in the year 1999. She has been felicitated by FICCI with "Young achievers award" in the year 2006.

At present Dr. Shikha is member of the Governing Body of Maietry College, New Delhi. AND SHE AND HER TEAM are here to answer your queries!

Nutri-Health, THE ORGANISATION, was set up in 1998 by DR SHIKHA SHARMA with the vision of providing scientific and practical advise to people about the kind of foods which have high nutritional value, simple herbs to manage day to day disorders and lifestyle skills to improve health.

This is achieved through THE TECHNICAL TEAM AT THE organisation which has about 100 people. The Ayurvedic Doctors and qualified nutritionist at Nutri-health diagnose the body type, advise on nutrition and basic kitchen herbs and guide and motivate about the life skills required to improve health.

There are certain factors that lead to weight gain, for that you should undergo few Blood tests like Lipid Profile, Thyroid Profile, Blood Sugar test so that root cause of your weight gain can be known, moreover lifestyle influences a lot on your weight status. Try to eat healthy and in right proportions. Include lots of fresh veggies, salad and fruits in your diet. Also you can include fiber in the form of wheat bran and oat bran.
