 The countdown to the finals of Indian Idol 4 on Sony Television has begun. The traffic on the voting lines is getting heavier. The moment of truth is drawing close.
Who will be the next Indian Idol? Will it be a girl – is the million dollar question.
 While the singing soldier from Dehradun understands everyone's anxiousness to see a girl win the title for the first time, he certainly isn’t going to make things easy for his co-finalists Sourabhee and Torsha.
 All those who’ve been following Indian Idol would be familiar to the connection and chemistry that is apparent between Soldier boy Kapil Thapa and stylish Sourabhee.
 With her good looks and a voice that is sweeter than the 'rosogollas' from her homestate Bengal, Torsha Sarkar is undoubtedly one of the finds of Indian Idol 4.
 "We are all preparing very hard for the show. Everyone will be there, from past Indian Idol winners to celebrity judges and a number of prominent guests.
 Coming from a small town, Agartala, it wasn’t easy for Saurabhee to adjust to the big city life of Mumbai. She was scared and apprehensive and but now that it’s been seven months, she has finally adjusted to the city and enjoys staying there.
 Though Torsha’s transformation from a shy, reserved girl into a singing sensation on stage has been remarkable, it wasn’t easy for the singer to overcome her natural reticence.
 Soldier boy Kapil feels that though ‘a background in classical music always helps one become a better singer, he is happy that people have found him naturally melodious’.
 Like the other two contestants, Sourabhee also paid a visit to her hometown before the galas, where she got a superb reception. “I already felt like a celebrity there,” quips Sourabhee.
With just a few days away from the final round, the singer is trying to keep her nerves tact and concentrate on her voice.
 Sourabhee may be quite complascent about any competition posed by Torsha, but Torsha understands the value for true talent.
