She joined NDTV's Entertainment desk in 2002 to report, produce and anchor in Hindi and English for various entertainment shows including Night Out, Raat Baki and Cinema India. She produced and anchored "Just Bollywood" , a show on the business of entertainment for NDTV Profit from 2003 - 2005.
In 2004 she produced and anchored a series on "Best Hotels of India" for NDTV Profit & NDTV 24X7. She has travelled to the country's grandest and finest hotels and tested everything from the bathroom to the bars. Quizzed the management, tasted all the culinary delights.. and brought out the perfect package for that perfect luxurious get away. Neha is currently working as a Producer for NDTV's Lifestyle Channel – NDTV GOOD TIMES. She has anchored and produced an innovative budget travel series called 'No Big Deal' . From scouting the best back packer options in India in ‘No Big Deal’ series aimed at the Indian audience she's now taken the backpacker series ‘No Big Deal’ out of India...
She has also done a successful path breaking adventure series ‘Free Fall’ for NDTV Good Times and has left no travel milestone untouched, from jumping off from a plane to diving in the deep seas. And now she is combining her love for backpacking and adventure in her latest series " The Warrior Tribes of Nagaland"

| | | 1. The Angamis and Konyaks wear rings of cane on their legs which are not merely ornamental but also help in climbing. | | | | |
2. All Naga tribes use hair for decoration. Earlier human hair was much sought after but now goat's hair is used. | | | | |
3. A girl becomes a full fledged member of the community only after she is tattooed. | | | | |
4. The Nagas on the war-path carried two spears each. It was an effective weapon upto a range of thirty yards. | | | | |
5. Among the Angamis, after a young man fixes his choice on a certain girl for marriage, the bridegroom's father tests the match by strangling a fowl and watching the way in which it crosses its legs when dying. If the legs are placed in an inauspicious attitude, the match is immediately broken off. | | | | |
6.Dreams are of paramount importance for the Nagas. If a girl chosen for marriage dreams about something inauspicious within three days, the marriage is called off. | | | | |
7. Interestingly, among the Semas, the daughter gets a dowry! The girl's father also gives ornaments to the bride but this is much less than the dowry received. The price of a girl also depends upon her accomplishments, an educated girl will fetch a higher dowry. | | | | |
The above trivia is based on facts from the past traditions. Many Nagas do not follow these customs anymore. | |
