After studying Economics at Delhi University and Cardiff Business School,Ambika Anand joined NDTV in December 2002 to work on India Business Report, a weekly programme that was produced for the BBC. After a year and a half she took a sabbatical and worked for the Department of Communication at The International Labour Organisation, Geneva. |
She rejoined NDTV's Business Channel in December 2005 and worked on several programmes in her capacity as reporter and anchor. The list includes Hot Property, Boss's Day Out and Value for Money. She also anchored live business news on the channel.In January 2007, Ambika shifted to NDTV's lifestyle channel, Good Times to work on fashion and wedding related programming. |
Not only has she showcased her repertoire across shows such as I’m Too Sexy For My Shoes, Band Baajaa Bride- The Makeover Show, The Fast & The Gorgeous (Season-2), The Big Fat Indian Wedding, 10 Things To Do Before You Say Bye, and a variety of other shows as well but she has also frequently been touted as one of the best dressed and most stylish personalities in the television industry.
