She’s jumped off airplanes, dived deep into depths of the seas; she’s fought with the currents, scaled the Alps, and roamed the valleys of Switzerland; Neha Dixit is truly an adventure junkie. In the last nine years of her career at NDTV, Neha has anchored and produced shows across genres on NDTV 24X7, NDTV India, NDTV Profit and for the past 4 years has been working for NDTV's Lifestyle Channel – NDTV Good Times, covering Food, Fashion Travel, Adventure, Bollywood and Entertainment.
She has produced as well as anchored various award winning travel shows like NO BIG DEAL! a show which features ECOnomic & sustainable holidays for smart travelers that won the Indian Television Academy Awards 2009 for Best Travel Show; 10 Things to do Before You Say Bye!, a show that showcases unusual destinations from around the world, that won the Indian Television Academy Awards 2010 for Best Travel Show.
Neha combined her love for backpacking and adventure, exploring the lives of an indigenous people in her series The Warrior Tribes of Nagaland, a documentary series that won the Intermedia Globe Gold Award for best Documentary Travel at The World Media Festival, Hamburg, Germany. Her curiosity for the indigenous tribes of Nagaland took her back to the North East of India in 2010 to celebrate The Hornbill Festival in Nagaland in Nagaland: Land of Festivals. She has also and anchored and produced the path breaking adventure series Free Fall for NDTV Good Times.
All along her travels, whether budget or adventure, Neha’s love for animals has been hard to miss! She’s hand fed sharks and played with the Columbian red tailed python. Been chased by tiger cubs and walked along with the adults... Scuba divided with Sea turtles and met some really fun pets around the world, from Kangaroos, Koalas, Pilot Whales and Dolphins to the very elusive Tarsiers, Tasmanian devils to name a few. She naturally went on to anchor 2 seasons of NDTV Good Times' popular Pet show, Heavy Petting.
Kingfisher Blue Mile witnessed her pushing the limits on a 15 day road trip in Ladakh with 8 bikers. In Swiss Made Neha explored Switzerland from the eyes of a romantic couple, she went shopping with 3 best friends, bungee jumped with 3 adventure junkies & tasted the finest cuisine Switzerland has to offer!
