| | Aditya Bal Aditya Bal started his culinary career two and a half years ago and is largely self-taught. During this time he has trained at an Italian restaurant, a Mediterranean restaurant and a Goan restaurant as well. He enjoys adventure travel and loves to try all the street food and hidden food treasures of our country. He goes to the streets, visits homes and markets to discover old cooking techniques. He has anchored the popular 'Chakh Le India' series on NDTV Good Times where he travels around the country, eats the finest food and then tries the recipes in his kitchen. Currently, Aditya is anchoring a brand new food show called ‘Chakh Le Academy…’ on NDTV Good Times

This time around, he heads north to the mighty state of Uttar Pradesh to discover the secrets behind the aromas of Awadhi cooking, the magic of the Mughlai kitchens and the halwais of Kashi! After having his fill of kormas and karma, Aditya will head further north to Jammu to eat and cook his way through picturesque hilly villages that wait ripe with the promise of some great Dogri food! This is followed by a sojourn deep into the heartland of India, the state of Madhya Pradesh has many unexplored secrets and some fantastic food and Aditya can’t wait to discover the lesser-known recipes of Sailana and Malwa.
