iPhone 4 is here!

The fact that two million iPhone 4s sold within days of its launch in June, proves that Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple, had done his job. But does the iPhone 4 live up to all the hype and promises? Let's find out...

It is said to be the thinnest smart phone on the planet. At 0.37 inches, iPhone 4 can give a wafer a complex! It has a new look and feel. Plastic is out. Glass is in. But don't worry, the glass used is “30 times harder than plastic”. Apple claims it is as strong as a sapphire crystal!

A stainless steel band runs around the entire phone and between the glass. This metal trim is pretty cool as it serves as an antenna for 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth!

The display screen is stunning. It's one of the best ever on a phone! Thanks to the new Retina Display technology the images are vivid, bright, razor-sharp and super clear. The icons and graphics have a 3D feel.

The videos download fast and the resolution is great. You don't have to zoom in to read the Text. It's incredibly clean and easy on the eye.

After the killer screen, the next big thing on iPhone 4 is -- Face Time. It's a whole new way to talk to someone. You can see them, they can see you! Video calling is a reality! But there's a hitch. Face Time is possible only from Apple-to-Apple iPhone and over Wi-Fi.

Pictures on the iPhone 4 look amazing. The trick is increasing the photon count not megapixels. The logic -- Let more light in and images look great. This works even in low light situations without flash.

The speakerphone and call quality works well in crowded and noisy places. A noise cancelling microphone let's you hear clearly in a din.

Not everybody is a fan of the austere black and silver look. A lot of people find it 'boxy' and miss the curve and flow typical of Apple.

You can jump and multi-task on the iPhone 4. The tabs are super smooth and you can move from News, Videos, Photos, and more with ease.

Our verdict? The iPhone 4 didn't disappoint us. And since we held it as instructed, we didn't face any signal problems.
