The latest entrant to burst upon the Bollywood scene, Parineeti Chopra has been creating waves with her bubbly charm and formidable acting chops.

Though she is related to actor Priyanka Chopra, the similarities end there.

Along with Sonakshi Sinha and Vidya Balan, this beautiful and young actress is the new poster girl for curvy figures and is garnering appreciation for her refusal to fit the typical Bollywood mould.

Her personal style:

Spunky yet youthful, Parineeti’s style mantra is to keep it simple with some element of fun. Like her roles, she likes to experiment with her dressing while still sticking to the conventional. Case in point, a studded black vest and pink loafers or a colourful cardigan jazz up a simple jeans and ganji combo.

Whatever the occasion, Parineeti loves to add a pop of colour to her ensemble, through the clothes or accessories.

Recently she has been experimenting with different styles as well- including the ever popular peplum and studs for a punky edge.

Parineeti poses for the paparazzi on the green carpet during the IIFA Rocks Green Carpet on second day of the International Indian Film Academy awards weekend.

Blue seems to be her go-to colour on the red carpet. From electric blue to shades of turquoise and aqua, Parineeti loves to don this hue to make a statement.

She is a tomboy at heart but still manages to be feminine in her looks. When she has to attend red carpets and events she prefers wearing gowns or minis.

Get Parineeti's look:

1. Pick a colour that you love and that flatters your skin tone. Experiment with different shades of the same hue.

2. Always dress your age. If you are in your teens and early 20s, stick to bright colours and trendy ensembles.

3. Dress up a simple tee and ganji in different ways either with a colourful cardigan, vest and interesting footwear.
