A famous model and Miss India 2004 Semi-Finalist, Mugdha Godse made her film debut with the recently released Fashion.

Before the release of Fashion, Mugdha was quoted as telling the media "Howsoever tempting an offer may seem, there is no reason why I should be looking at any other film but Fashion as my debut vehicle. Not many people get a platform like this to make a first impression and even though it would be only towards the year end that my effort would be noticed, I am quite sure it is going to be worth it."

In a recent episode of Oye Its Friday, Mugdha confided in Farhan Akhtar that her choice of careers was not easily accepted by her family. The girl who hails from a typical Maharashtrian family has more to her than what is visible to the world. She went on to say that her mother is not happy about her dressing style, and would die to see her dressed in traditional Indian attire.
