For me, being healthy constitutes not just physical but emotional and mental health.
When you are relaxing, when you are treating yourself with respect and value yourself as a human being, it contributes immensely to your mental and emotional health.
Which is what makes you one happy person!
So taking care of yourself is very important, not only in Bollywood but in Life as well. We lead such high stressed lives, we owe it to ourselves.
After a long shooting schedule a great back massage does wonders for me. After all, the entire stress of your body is concentrated on your back and there are so many points of tension. So a back massage is something everyone should try.
You can go for a Champak Back Treatment that really helped my back get back to some sort of normalcy.
Champak is a rare flower that is mainly used for therapy, relaxation and healing.
I'd also recommend aloe vera as it helps in everything possible. It has antiseptic properties and has a very cooling effect on the body.
Follow it up with a head massage minus the oil (like me) to touch a few pressure points, relax a bit and feel refreshed. A dry head massage is as effective as an oil massage.
I don't come from a background where
was essential. My grandmother didn't give me head massages nor did my mom.

When it comes to food, I'm someone who follows the voice of my stomach and its cravings. But I follow a very simple diet.
I weaned myself of all the major carbs in my life. I don't eat rice or
an' I don't miss it anymore. What's the point of working so hard if you are going to fill your body with junk and ruin everything?
So eating well, eating healthy, eating good food is the essence of my lifestyle. And everything your mother told you about healthy eating and how to get that glow is true!
I have lots of milk as it's an extremely good filler. So I get up in the morning and that's what I have.
I'm also a big vegetable freak. I live on
and salads and I drink a lot of water as opposed to colas and beverages.
Caesar Salad is my favourite salad though it's a bit fattening b'coz of the dressing. But I don't care, as I said mental health is also important.
Not many people like salads as they consider it
and not something substantial. But once you are hung on fruits and vegetables, your body adjusts to a new kind of eating habit. I can't eat heavy food.
My body revolts at the sight of heavy food. After sometime, your body automatically weans itself of wanting heavy food and your stomach shrinks. Your body feels so much lighter and healthier.
Kiwi is by far my favourite fruit. You don't find many people buying kiwis, they'd rather have apples, papayas and water melons.
But you'll always find kiwis and grapes, big red ones, in my house.
Other than that, I don't eat too many fruits as they are high on sugar content and they digest very fast. Fruits get me hungry in 15 minutes flat.
So every time I want to clean my stomach, I have fruits and I know in 15-20 minutes it's all digested and my stomach is waiting for more!
