Puppy Love!

I have a puppy called Ninja, one of the rare, very rare dogs in the whole wide world as his mom was a beautiful Golden Retriever and his dad is a very handsome Boxer.
And when they fell in love and mated, this is what we got!

When Betty first mated, I was very upset because I wanted little Golden Retriever puppies. But she was very much in love with the Boxer and she used to bite all the males, I used to send her to get mated!

One day, of course nature intervened, and we had a litter of seven cute, cute little puppies. And it didn't matter how they looked. They were so sweet!

A lot of people will take offense to this – BUT puppies are like babies and babies are like puppies!!

They need unconditional love, they need you to look after them 100 per cent, they need time, they need everything.

If you can't do that, then don't have them, it's as simple as that. They need you at all times and I'm not joking.

No matter who doesn't look at you or who doesn't talk to you or how your day has been, dogs never come and say, “Oh what have you bought for me? Or “You were mean to me in the morning and ignored me.” Or whatever...

As soon as you open the door – they are all there jumping and wagging and kissing. It's so cute and lovely.

You know that scene from Lion King, where Simba's dad picks him up and shows him to everyone? I actually did that when I first had my son Zeke!

As my pups are on the top floor, when we came back from hospital, I walked up the steps, picked up Zeke and said, “This is Zeke!”
I let them smell him, they licked his legs and my mom simply freaked out!
