The best holiday ever in Swiss land

Swiss Made Dreams was undoubtedly the best holiday that we've had in the past three years. With the bar set so high, it's going to be difficult to match up to this holiday. Before getting into the all the fun and crazy stuff that entailed, we would like to say that the main reason this vacation was so great was because of the crazy bunch of people at NDTV Good Times, with whom we got along like a house on fire. The company makes all the difference when travelling to new places.

As for the trip, we had a ball right from the time we got the Merc to zip around in Switzerland and enjoy the drive. This trip covered all the three aspects of fun travel for Daman:

- Road trip in a Merc
- A helicopter ride to enjoy the mountains from a vantage point
- A 4-seater racing yatch experience at the St Moritz lake

Basically Road - Air - Water, all covered!

Aishwarya tripped out on the fantastic food (again the NDTV Good Times crew played a key role here by being gracious enough to let her try EVERY meal they ordered).

We would also like to mention the crazy Jacuzzi experience, which was one of its kind in an open air tub of hot water at 3000 feet! But before we left the country, we also contributed to the great cheese making tradition of the region by toiling away to make around 30 kgs of Swiss cheese which will mature in the next 3 months.

A word about the hotel- BEAUTIFUL! Straight out of an architecture magazine replete with a fantastic staff and great food. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to this part of the world.

Most importantly, Daman can now add a very rare regional dialect of German to his language skills. It's kind of difficult for the true German speaking population to understand the dialect that he invented ( or discovered?!), but the English speaking populace should find no difficulty at all.

Overall it was a great experience and we have a story to tell and a new language to teach our 2 yr old daughter!
