Hello viewers! I should have started blogging long ago but I just never got about to it. And you can’t really blame me, I did have food and drinks galore too, well, taste (translate: Gorge on and stuff myself silly with!)

So, all said and done, I am finally getting down to logging my trips: So many memories and so little I can actually remember. Help me, if you saw something funny or quirky and want to know more, write to me and it will probably jog up my memory.
And that would be a great thing because that would be the only exercise of any sorts my body would have been subjected to in quite a while.

The experience has been exhilarating. Not to mention tiring. That much travel and eating can make your head spin and not in a good way.
The most vivid recollection I have of my sense of being lost was when I landed in Portugal and the immigrations officer asked me where I was coming from and after replying with a blank gaze lasting a good few seconds, I asked her to first tell me where exactly I was at that moment!
“Lisbon”, came the quick reply, garnished with some surprise and confusion.

At this point glimpses came back to me and I shot back with equal readiness, “UK, that’s where I am coming from!” “Which city,” she persisted. And this is where my powers of focussing and concentration broke down and I blurted something just about coherently to the effect that I had remembered the country and that should be good enough.

The rest of the information would have been stamped somewhere on my passport/boarding card/whatever. She was nice enough to let me go, which was nice considering I was waiting for someone to handcuff me for such impudence and ignorance and read me my rights.

So, in short, a lot of effort behind the show and it wasn’t half as rosy as the biscuits I had in Champagne...hmmm, biscuits...
Anyways, that’s it for now...I leave you all with a query - Does this camera angle make me look fat!?
