If there is someone in B-town who dares to redefine clichés and splatter generous amount of flamboyance on top of it, it's the king of erratic Ranveer Singh. He unfailingly consents to wear the most out-of-the-box craziest outfits and carries them with utmost confidence; and sometimes it's a little too much sometimes. While we are all aware of his audacious sartorial experiments on and off the red carpet, these 7 outfits specifically shocked us beyond measure!
1. Poster Print Co-ordinates
The success party for his ladylove's blockbuster film Piku deserved a signature Ranveer Singh look and what better than his all-time favourite co-ords. Who would think of pairing quirky poster print co-ordinates with a fedora hat and kolhapuri footwear? His outfit vouched for his excitement and even the cast on his hand couldn't keep him from being his lively jumpy self.
2. Baba Suit
The fact that his co-star Anushka Sharma was also taken aback by his eclectic style speaks volumes about Ranveer Singh's white and gold look at a press event for his movie Dil Dhadakne Do. He referred to his gold floral jacket and coordinated shorts as the 'baba suit'. Even his signature hat couldn't provide a visual relief from the outrageous outfit.
3. Super Mario Track-suit
We understand comfort fashion, but how could this man go for the regular basic! Casually walking out of the PVR amidst busy Bajirao promotion days, he was spotted sporting a Super Mario tracksuit. What's more? The matching blue shades and one leg of the trouser pulled up and the moustache obviously added to the feel of the character.
4. R for Ranveer Jacket
When the actor arrived at the Radio Mirchi office for a promotional interview for his film Befikre, we thought he's kept it relatively simple this time. After all his not so flamboyant varsity jacket only had oversized icons that describe his personality accessorized with scarlet shades. It was when turned his back towards the camera that we realized we were wrong! As oversized as the icons were the text that stated 'R for Ranveer'!
5. Tuxedo With A Twist
It took a whole lot of suited men to balance out Ranveer's tuxedo-with -twist look at the GQ men of the year awards 2016.Like the sequined yoke couldn't suffice his never-ending quest for the outrageous, he paired it with a satin half kilt, half palazzo bottoms. Adding to his thoroughly inventive avatar were the kohled eyes and slick back hair.
6. Straight Out Of Bed
Right when we thought it couldn't get any more peculiar, the oddity king turned up in wackiest best at GQ magazine's event that was meant to applaud the 'best dressed'. Ranveer Singh donned the straight-out of bed look sans the hat and the stick. Printed pyjamas, satin animal print robe, bed-time slippers and a quote t-shirt that declared his philosophy of life in one line!
7. Fitted Onesie
Ranveer Singh made sure he stole the spotlight from the birthday boy Shahid Kapoor with his bizarrely fitted black & white outfit. We're not really sure from what he drew inspiration for the white hooded onesie with black stripes, but it reminded trollers of everything from the "do the rex" Durex campaign to white plastic bags and all that's laminated.
