No amount of planning ever really gets us the result of a flawless vacation, and of course no one wants that kind of ideal trip anyway. It is the little hijinks we go through that really help us build memories. So be that as it may, it is super important to still maximize your time away. And we tell you how!
1. Pick the Best Company
Fun fact? This can be you yourself; no one said that your company isn't the best. Whether a friend, family, significant other -whomever it may be, be very sure that you will be spending quality alone time with them. Sometimes the best vacations aren't that amazing because of poor company.
2. Throw Darts On A Country Map
Throwing a dart on the world map, and it having reached a location like France or England can be unfair to your pocket, so how about throwing these darts country wise? Choose your favourite country, and then throw your darts around. Maybe you are lucky and get to visit a quaint little village in Europe or South America?
3. Follow Hashtag
So new, so useful. Instead of blindly following travel guides and portals, the best thing you can do is scourge through social media with the hashtag of the place so you can actually witness how that place looks in real time, through real phone camera lens!
4. Budget Budget
This you must enforce, and enforce with discipline. Maybe even ask someone you are low-key scared of to help you be sincere with this task. Start keeping a vacation fund that is separate from your expenditures on a monthly basis; maybe you'll have to forego that lunch or those shoes but having to not worry about money when you suddenly want to plan a trip is such a relief!
5. Lock In Weekends
Weekends are the easiest to schedule, and no not just long weekends. You don't have to worry about work, you don't have to worry about time and schedule, if you plan well you can actually have at least one weekend away in a month. Utilize your weekends, and keep all your leaves for a rainy day, or many!
6. Be Impetuous
This isn't the same as being adventurous. You don't have to climb off cliffs or scuba dive to achieve. You can simply just book a ticket to a nearby town or city on a whim and just go there. Chances are you'll probably just chill and rest there, but at least it will be such a break from the routine!
7. Invest in Walking Shoes
So important! Walking is the best, best way to explore any new place, and thus you need to invest in a good pair of shoes. No fancy heels, or chunky boots, get yourself some nice sneakers or flats to walk, walk, and walk some more.
