Flying high after the success of her latest release Cocktail, model-turned actor Deepika Padukone proves she's one to watch out for- whether on screen or off screen. In the coming months, this dimpled diva is all set to star with some of the biggest stars in Bollywood, but for now she's already cemented her status on our Fashion List?

Personal Style

Mile high legs-check. Tiny waist-check. Dimpled smile-check. Deepika's style mantra is simple- "I'm Sexy and I Know It!" A former Kingfisher Calendar girl, she loves showing off her enviable figure in tiny shorts and form fitting dresses. And in her case, shorts are not restricted to the beach! By teaming them with a form fitted blazer and classic accessories, Deepika demonstrates that shorts can take you from a late night party to a fashion week!

When you're blessed with height like this former badminton player, maxi dresses are a comfortable silhouette that promise to flatter. Brightly coloured dresses are paired with colourful bangles and jeweled thong flats for a playful look.

And given her modeling background, Deepika keeps things fresh by working the latest trends to hit the runway. Case in point- Peplum! Whether in the form of a dress or pairing a peplum top with jeans and nude heels , she shows us how to stay ahead of the style curve and still look fashionable.

For Indian wear, DP is usually spotted in anarkalis or saris by Sabyasachi paired with colourful mojris.

Get Deepika's Style:

If you have a lean and athletic body, wear halter maxi dresses with colourful bangles and braided hair for a summer look.

Draw attention to your best features- keep the neckline high and wear a backless dress instead.

And finally confidence! As a former model, Deepika knows what works for body type. Try on different styles to see what works for you, and don't forget to flash that gorgeous smile just like Deepika!
