Dhaba food for you means....?	Desi Indian food. Although there are Dhabas selling Chowmein & pizzas
What's your top 3 places to eat?	1. Flavours at defence colony (their wine list is good, cosy atmosphere, simple & good Italian food) 2. The Chinese at Connaught Palace I am a diehard fan of Chinese cuisine Indian style, & this place has both Original Chinese food & Indianised Chinese food. 3. Sawagat at Naraina & Def col (this is the best south Indian non veg one can get in Delhi my favourite is curry patta chicken with egg appam)
Name an evergreen dish that will never go out of style ?	Tandoori Chicken & Yellow Daal Tadka with rice.
Who is a better cook, your mother or your wife?	I am married for 13 years now & the secret of my happy married life is that my wife loves cooking & I love to eat. My mother is happy to see me happy so there is no competition.
Do you count your calories when you eat?	I avoid deep fried & sweets to compensate my calories intake in curries. My wife actually counts my calories. I can see the calories I had on her face. This year I am going to try Daal Bhatti Choorma at my friends’ house in winters, i have told my friend & his wife that my wife will not be there when I have Bhatti Choorma because she will simply kill me for eating desi ghee.
If you had the chance to share a meal with your favourite television anchor, who would it be?	If have to share my meal with TV anchor i will have with Rocky if its desi non veg, Mayur if its Veg meal, Magan if it is European, Marut Sikka if the meal is fusion, if there is red wine with the meal then I will definitely want Ritu Dalmia’s company.
Do you think men who cook are not macho?	Cooking has nothing to do with machoism. I made my first cup of tea when I was in class IV, my fist chicken in class XI. Cooking can be a big stress buster. Men can be very innovative, my innovation was when I added my scotch to chicken & the taste could not be better. I think cooking makes men complete. My speciality is Chicken & Veggies Teppanyaki Style & my wife loves it.
