Welcome to Good Times - What are you searching for?
What attracts you to the idea of a backpacking holiday? You get to explore new places that might otherwise be hidden from a five star, air conditioned holiday!
What have your favourite holidays been? Any "NO BIG DEAL" experiences? My holiday to goa, definitely. next would be Lahore, which was work cum vacation.I loved the fact that we actually went to the villagers homes and sat and ate with them. it was something that I would never have done on my own! and I loved the way we would just stop in the middle of nowhere and start shooting. the scenery was truly breath taking!
What would your ideal backpacking destination be? Leh and Leach. And any form of vacation to New York and Paris that will last at least a month. :)
Do you overplan your holidays? Do you stick to itineraries on a holiday? Rarely. (do I stick to itineraries.)
What are the five things that you make sure you experience when you are visiting a new place? The local shopping especially the crafts, the local food, a walk down the lane I am living on (at least) to get a feel of the place, trying to pick up at least a few local words, a trip to the museum if I can.
Would you ever trade a backpacking holiday with a luxury resort getaway? It need a balance between both. Each type has its own perks!
