About the show :
Dog is man's best friend. But thus far there has been no television show in India dedicated to pets.

Heavy Petting has changed that. On this weekly show, dogs, cats, fish, birds, rabbits, snakes, all creatures big and small, find their way into our hearts and homes.

Heavy Petting, celebrates pets through features, news, biographies, blogs, and humorous moments.

Hosted by actress and animal lover Seema Rahmani, this first of its kind show, invites people to share stories about their adored pets.

There is also a vet segment that answers pet-related queries and a celebrity pet segment that features celebs and their beloved furry friends.

I have a boxer who is six years old. H e often gets ear infection. last time he had it on 15 nov 2008. at that time it was in both the ears. my vet asked me to give tab FLUONAZOLE 150at weekly interval*3weeks and for application he prescribed oint. betnovate GM.
Now on 15 feb 2009 he again had infection in right ear. dr. told me to apply same ointment as written above. he is better now but it is very difficult to apply inside the ear, he becomes alert and hides himself under the bed.
I want to know if there is any other way to remove this infection permanently or is there any ear drops which can be easily poured. please advice me soon .
thanx . chitra

Sir

Earlier you advised that "Considering his age and signs, all i can suggest is to take him to your vet to rule out common diseases like heart failure, COPD or tracheal collapse. Inflamed airways and Kennel cough may also cause such symptoms. If he find difficult to breath after walk, exercise/running etc, the vet would consider heart problems like left side heart failure. Some dogs commonly have respiratory disease (i.e., collapsing trachea, COPD) coexistent with heart disease also. The best way to rule out all these diseases and to have specific treatment is get him radiography , ECG and if possible echocardiography. Your vet might prescribe medications symptomatically till all the investigations are complete. "

I take my dog to Frendesco Seca, Defence Colony. You are requested to tell which is the good place for the above-mentioned tests. If not, you are requested to tell the place nearby Defence Colony, where I can get his good treatement.
