Season Finale
Italian Khana the TV series, based on Chef Ritu Dalmia’s book, is back on NDTV Good Times with the third and final season!

This time around Chef Dalmia travels to the Umbria, Lombardy and Emilia Romagna regions of Italy. Here she cooks and dines at Michelin star restaurants as well as picnics in an olive grove.

From olive oil tastings to food festivals in tiny villages, and finally taking a crash course in wine production, Chef Dalmia has truly done it all now.

This season's finale brings to life the last chapters of her book, at the same time, pays a fitting tribute to the Italian way of life.
About the Anchor
Ritu Dalmia
Ritu Dalmia
Ritu Dalmia is the owner of Diva, one of Delhi's finest Italian restaurants. Diva has won the Hindustan Times' HT City Award for the last four years and The Times of India's Times Food Award for the last two years.

Ritu also runs the extremely popular café at the Italian Cultural Centre. She was awarded the prestigious Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity.

At the age of sixteen, Ritu joined her father's marble business. She often travelled to Italy for work and fell in love with its cuisine on her trips there. At the age of twenty-one she started her first restaurant MezzaLuna, in Delhi, offering Mediterranean cuisine with an Italian accent.

It was in her words 'a wonderful disaster' and she closed shop and moved to London, where she opened the acclaimed Indian restaurant Vama.

She returned to Delhi to open Diva.
This Week on Italian Khana
Food festivals are part of the Italian way of life and this episode of Italian Khana experiences firsthand the magic and chaos that goes with them!

At the grape sagre or "grape festival" in Piglio Chef Ritu Dalmia comes across young women in costumes crushing grapes. Ritu goes on to taste wine, pig on porchetta and dance with the locals.

Her next stop is the village of Borgotaro. Here, slow food movement is the religion and mushroom hunting is almost a ritual.
